Terms of Use

Last updated October 10, 2026

These terms are between you and Five and Two Ministries Inc. (“we”), and cover your use of Notebook. We’ve kept them short and plain.

Notebook is sold through the App Store, so Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms add to it. If the two ever disagree, Apple’s agreement wins.

Your subscription

  • Free trial. New subscribers get 14 days free. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you’re charged.
  • Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. Your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before each period ends.
  • Cancelling. Cancel any time in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. You keep full access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • Refunds. Apple handles billing, so refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Price changes. If the price changes, Apple will let you know beforehand, as its rules require.
  • Without a subscription. Your notebooks stay readable, searchable and exportable. Writing and making new pages need an active subscription.

Your notes

Everything you write, import or scan belongs to you. We don’t claim any rights to it, and we can’t see it. See our privacy policy.

Your notebooks are stored on your iPad and, if you turn it on, in your own iCloud. Please keep iCloud on or export important notebooks from time to time. We can’t recover notes that were deleted or lost from your devices.

Using Notebook

Use Notebook for anything lawful. Please don’t try to copy, resell, reverse-engineer or get around the subscription in the app.

Our work

The app, its design, paper, templates and name belong to us. Your subscription gives you a personal licence to use them in Notebook. Pages you make and export are yours to use however you like.

The daily reflection verses come from the World English Bible and the King James Version, which are in the public domain in the United States.

No warranties

We work hard to make Notebook reliable, but it’s provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise it will always be available or free of bugs.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data. Our total liability for anything to do with Notebook is limited to what you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms as Notebook changes. We’ll update the date at the top, and for important changes we’ll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Notebook means you accept the new terms.

Ending

You can stop using Notebook at any time. We may end access for anyone who breaks these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, apart from its conflict-of-law rules.
